Ashdon Trail Ten mile route
Just follow the orange arrows, you can't get lost!
Race Directions
There will be a number of directions sprayed on the ground to direct runners, as well as marshals. Here are the following directions and what they mean (click to see meaning):
Points to note:
- At miles 0,2.3,4.3,6,7.9 and 10 the route crosses a road/minor lane. These quiet country lanes will be marshalled but runners should take adequate precautions when crossing and take responsibility for their own safety.
- Mile 6.6 7.4 a ford crossing across a shallow river means runners should reduce speed in order not to slip.
The hills are short but beware, they're steeper then this graph above shows. The hill from mile 7.5 and 8 is very steep, short and sweet.
