Taking place on Easter Monday Bank Holiday, the race combines the very best of the Essex, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk countryside with plenty of hills, mud and more hills along marshalled and marked trails. A fun run aimed at under 16s will also take place, 3km long with some great views as well. Designed by runners, for runners and with an emphasis on providing a first class service for runners, not just profit making but of course all profits are for charities. Profits will go to Ashdon Windmill, which you'll admire many times along this beautiful route, and Saffron Walden County High Farm Club, an independent farm providing education and 'hands on' knowledge for children about farming the environment, currently raising funds for a new goat house to provide friends for Nibbles, who sadly lost her companion after many happy years. |
